Cask separates into two companies to deliver focused services on ServiceNow and Government Services

Cask NX to focus on digital transformation solutions on ServiceNow, Cask Government Services on Federal Program Management, Engineering and Cybersecurity services.

Stafford, VA and San Diego, CA, April 8, 2019 – Cask LLC announced today it has split into two businesses separating its ServiceNow technology solutions business from its government services business. The move forms two stand-alone businesses, Cask Government Services and Cask NX each positioned to capitalize on their respective growth opportunities in rapidly changing markets.

Founded in 2004, Cask Technologies LLC began providing information and communications technology procurement support to federal, state and higher education markets. The company was quickly recognized for its ability to unlock the value of technology in more efficient and cost-effective ways. This led to 15 years of rapid growth delivering program optimization and operational support. During this time, Cask expanded into a second line of business: technology consulting, integration and digital transformation. Cask serves more than 20 percent of the Global 2000 and with its focus on delivering measurable results, has been the recipient of multiple awards from Inc. 5000 and Consulting magazines for seven years running.

The rapid growth and development of multiple lines of business has set the stage for separating the corporation. The two distinct businesses will be sharper and stronger, and more focused and competitive as leading, standalone companies in their respective markets. As independent companies, Cask Government Services and Cask NX will better serve their customers and enjoy added flexibility to pursue new market and partnership opportunities.

Cask Government Services practitioners draw upon deep functional expertise while working in small teams to serve as resources to their clients during all phases of a program and project lifecycle. Cask experts guide clients through known and unknown difficulties of transformation using a systems-thinking perspective grounded in experience working with some of the world’s largest organizations. Cask currently holds prime contracts in GSA Stars II, GSA IT 70, Seaport-E/NG and subcontracts on several IDIQs and supports many NAICS codes.

“It was the right time to separate our ServiceNow business so our government teams can keep their focus on the program support and operational management expertise that made Cask what it is today,” said Liz Guezzale, president of Cask Technologies LLC. “Now we can sharpen our focus on government services, so our artisan-engineers can continue to bring our deep domain experience and technology acquisition expertise to help our government clients be successful in their missions.”
